When the Robert Treat Hotel opened in 1916, President Woodrow Wilson stayed in a suite on the fifth floor. This suite is now known as the Presidential Suite. It is beautifully decorated and has been visited by several presidents including John F. Kennedy. The Robert Treat Hotel also has two other suites, called the Governors and Gateway suites.
